Ashley C. Sawyer, Esq
Prior to joining Youth Represent, Ashley was a Stoneleigh Emerging Leader Fello at the Education Law Center-PA, where she implemented special education representation on behalf of incarcerated youth, worked to dismantle the School-to-Prison Pipeline, led a project focused on reducing disproportionate school exclusion of Black girls in Philadelphia and playeda key role in eliminating suspensions for Kindergarteners in Philadelphia schools. Ashley was the co-chair of the Legal Rights of Children Committee for the Philadelphia Bar Association and is an alumna of the NJJN – Youth Justice Leadership Institute. She is a graduate of the Howard University School of Law and earned a B.A. from Douglass College at Rutgers University.
