Christina Thomas

Staff Attorney

Christina Thomas has spent her career helping people facing criminal charges and helping workplaces become fairer. As an attorney at Youth Represent, she brings that experience to work that puts young people first as they navigate confusing and harmful systems.

Before joining Youth Represent, Christina was a Project Director and Research Scholar at NYU School of Law’s Meltzer Center for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, where she supported organizations as they worked to build fairer workplaces, especially for people who have often been left out. Before that, she spent six and a half years at the Bronx Defenders. She started as a criminal defense attorney, then spent her last two years in the People, Equity, and Institutional Transformation Department, where she helped create trainings and policies to make the office safer and more supportive for staff.

Christina has a BBA in Marketing from Howard University and a JD from Harvard Law School. She grew up in a Haitian family and community in South Florida and is proud of her roots. Outside of work, she loves a good TV show, a good workout, and discovering her next favorite meal.
