Annyce Brackins, MPA
Institutional Giving Manager
Annyce Brackins, originally from Chicago and now residing in Northern New Jersey, was exposed to fundraising early on, participating in church, school, and after-school program fundraisers. Her determination to pursue fundraising as a career blossomed during her undergraduate years while working in the university’s Phonathon Center within the development department. After completing her undergraduate studies, Annyce pursued a Master’s degree and, upon graduation, immediately embarked on her career journey. She has remained dedicated to addressing the opportunity gap for communities in need through philanthropy.
Annyce is committed to continuous growth, both professionally and personally. She is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (New York City chapter), part of the 2024 Spring Cohort of Cause Effective’s Rising Leaders Fundraising Activation for BIPOC professionals, and co-chair of the Rising Professionals of Color in Fundraising group, providing resources and targeted education to emerging professionals within the philanthropic space.
Annyce received a Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from Kean University and a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies with a concentration in Innovation & Entrepreneurship, along with a minor in Gender Studies.
