New Board Member Colin

Youth Represent is excited to announce the appointment of Colin Mincy to its Board of Directors. Colin is Human Rights Watch’s first Chief People Officer. Colin sits on the organization’s Executive Management Team and directs its global human resources function. Prior to joining Human Rights Watch, Colin was the Director of Culture and Change Management for Open Society – US. He also worked at the International Rescue Committee leading the regional human resources function for its US and European headquarters.

Colin serves on the Board of Directors for Workforce Professionals Training Institute (WPTI), a non-profit training and technical assistance intermediary for New York City’s workforce designed to unite people, programs, and organizations committed to generating pathways out of poverty through employment community. He is also an advisor, alumni and volunteer of INROADS New York/New Jersey, where he facilitates workshops for graduating seniors.

His deep experience will be invaluable to our organization and aid us in our efforts to deliver for the system-involved youth of color affected by the criminal legal system.”
