As a client-centered legal organization that serves predominantly youth of color, we refuse to undermine the importance of committing to fight against racism. In this pivotal moment of racial reckoning within America, we stand in solidarity with our AAPI and Black communities who are relentlessly fighting for our country to recognize that their lives matter.
Anti-Asian and anti-Black hate and violence will no longer be ignored or tolerated. Being non-racist is no longer enough. We must all be aggressively anti-racist to bring about systemic change. We support the efforts of the front-line advocates, grass-roots organizers, and community organizations that create transformational change by promoting true racial equity and prosperity. We denounce both recent and centuries-old racist and discriminatory actions committed against Asian and Black communities.
