Donte Rodgers is a Fixed Income Associate at Morgan Stanley, where he sits on the Commercial Real Estate Team. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Donte experienced the impacts of oppressive systems on a historically underserved community, East New York, and was himself a victim of systemic oppression. With hard work and perseverance, he overcame those adversities, with the support of the Year Up Program and Youth Represent. Hence, allowing him to pursue his education and career aspirations. He attained success in Management Consulting, working at Accenture, UBS, and Citigroup, before transitioning to Fixed Income Finance. 

Donte has volunteered, contributing pro-bono consulting to not-for-profits that could not afford high-priced strategy consulting, through the Compass organization. He has also advocated for funds for Inner City Youth Workforce programs and was a guest speaker at the Black & Hispanic Legislative Caucus weekend in Albany. Donte holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from New York University. His aim is to be a change agent in shifting the experience and perception of powerful diverse youth targeted for marginalization. He’s also devoted to decriminalization, decarceration, and prison reform. He is an avid boxing fan, real estate investor, and landlord.
