Growing up in rural Vietnam, Mai experienced first-hand the effects of the cycle of poverty, which informed her career in the social impact sector. She is a values-based leader passionate about bridging the gap between capital and transformational ideas that create equity. Mai spent a decade leading fundraising and partnership development to strengthen the capacity of nonprofits in areas including juvenile justice, education, legal representation, and food security. She worked for organizations including Equal Justice Works, Food and Friends, Eskolta School Research and Design, and Exalt Youth. At Resilia, Mai partners with funders to leverage Resilia's technology and human expertise–equipping nonprofits with the capacity-building tools and resources to accelerate their impact. 

Mai holds a B.A. in Global Studies and Business from Loyola University Maryland. She completed the New York Community Trust Leadership Fellows Program at the Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College, CUNY. In 2021, Mai graduated from the Senior Leaders Program for Nonprofit Professionals at Columbia Business School for Executive Education. Mai is a proud mom to a very joyful little human.
