I’m writing to ask you for a donation.
Why?
Because the most vulnerable have been hit hardest by the Covid crisis, among them are the system-involved youth of color we proudly serve. And these hardest hit communities are turning to Youth Represent for help.
We are helping in a number of critical ways and have quickly added new areas of representation, including:
Equitable Access to Benefits.
Unemployment Insurance support.
Mandating Workers’ Rights protections.
We have also developed an Emergency Fund to financially support young people and their families with emergency cash needs.
None of this can be done without your support.
We are facing the loss of 29% - 42% of our partner revenue, and nearly 75% of our government contracts are at risk of being cancelled or not renewed.
While these figures are daunting, I am certain we will rise to meet this challenge together.
We know that this crisis is affecting us all differently, but we also know that your support–no matter the amount–will make a difference in our clients' lives. With your support, Youth Represent will continue doing what we always do: centering youth voices, zealously fighting for their fundamental rights, and demanding that youth achieve justice from courtroom to community.
Thank you,
Michael Pope, Esq.
