Lenny Noisette most recently served as the director of the Justice team at Open Society Foundations US, where he oversaw $20M in annual grant-making and field engagement activities to advance the foundation’s criminal legal system reform efforts. Prior to joining the Foundations, Lenny was a founding senior staff member and long-serving Executive Director of the Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem (NDS), a nationally renowned community-based public defender office created to demonstrate a radical different approach to providing holistic and effective legal services. He currently serves as an adjunct professor at Fordham Law School, where he teaches lawyering skills courses and has recently launched a consulting practice providing nonprofit management support and executive and leadership coaching.
