Tziona Breitbart, Esq.

Staff Attorney

Tziona received her J.D. from Cardozo Law School and her B.A. from Smith College. Prior to joining Youth Represent, Tziona worked at the New Jersey Public Defender Office in the Family Defense Practice. As a public defender, Tziona represented parents in abuse and neglect proceedings. In law school, Tziona dedicated her time to family and criminal defense, working with the Legal Aid Society, The Bronx Defenders, and Neighborhood Defender Services of Harlem. Tziona continued this work as a Pro Bono Scholar with The Legal Aid Society's Criminal Defense Team. At Cardozo Law School, she served as the Symposium Editor of the Cardozo Journal of Equal Rights and Social Justice and as Co-Founder of the Public Interest Student Association.

Prior to law school, Tziona's commitment to social justice for youth was solidified while working as the Volunteer Coordinator at Covenant House New York, an organization that services youth facing homelessness and trafficking. She had the opportunity to advocate and provide programming for youth.
